Shipping Specialist

Introduction

Do you like the cosmetics sector? COCUNAT is looking for a Shipping Specialist to ensure on-time delivery of orders with the best customer experience and cost-effective service mode. In this position a significant amount of time will also be spent on documentation management, producing data and rate control. Are you up for the challenge?
Your responsibilities
  • Direct contact with carriers and freight forwarders to monitor and control shipments and support internal stakeholders with incidents that may arise.
  • Coordinate the daily operations with our 3PL in Mexico.
  • Review, validate and approve invoices resulting from logistics processes.
  • Issue and manage claims for accidents caused during transport service or invoice discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the Production and Logistics team to coordinate and execute international inventory transfers within the warehouses.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transport and warehousing and provide monthly performance reports.
  • Support on preparing the peak season to ensure orders are delivered on-time.
  • Support the product launch ensuring the inventory is available at the warehouse before the launch.
  • Be the first contact and filter logistics service companies (carriers, fulfillment centers, etc).
  • Support on projects that may arise from time to time.
Your profile
  • At least two years of professional experience in logistics and/or supply chain; in a national or international company.
  • Degree in business administration, finance, engineering or a related field.
  • Experience handling international shipments. Experience with Amazon FBA deliveries is considered an asset.
  • Analytical profile with attention to detail and the ability to synthesise and report.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proactively seek process improvements and accurately documenting workflows.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment; works well under pressure and results oriented.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the transport industry.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience working with an ERP (Business Central), and TMS is considered an asset.
  • Fluent in Spanish and advanced English skills.
